Hayley and Andy’s Wedding Day

Hayley and Andy have very kindly let me do a blog piece on their engagement shoot and their wedding day allowing me to show you exactly what is included when I am asked to shoot a wedding, so if you want a re-cap of their engagement shoot check out this link .

Hayley and Andy got married at Fennes in Essex. If your looking for a special location which can accommodate your check list for the entireity of your day then Fennes is definitely worth having a look at, the staff are lovely which makes a massive difference and the surroundings are perfect, come rain or shine this venue and the staff can adapt to any situation.

As a photographer the day went seamlessly, other then when  I found myself discussing couple shots with the groom (who looked slightly perplexed) only to realise he was in fact the best man and Andy’s identical twin brother as shown in the images below (Andy the groom is wearing a white cravat!)

In terms of photos they have been a beautiful couple to work with, when Hayley walked down the aisle it was a serious honeycombed melt moment she looked beautiful.

Thank you both for asking me to do your photos, such a pleasure to be part of your big day xx

Hi Gabrielle,

I keep telling my colleagues that I can always always tell the difference between pictures that are shot on Nikon or Canon. I shoot Nikon D3, which are provided by my work, but I am convinced that Canon-shot images are so much crisper. And I think I would be right in assuming that’s what these ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC images are shot on.

Do you shoot on Canon, and if so, which model?

(If you tell me it’s Nikon, it will shatter my world and make me up my game…)

All the best.

Simon.
