The Sunflower Jam is a charity event run by Jackie Paice which aims to enhance and develop integration and complementary treatment approaches by supporting the research for Complimentary and Alternative Medicine (CAM). This year the Sunflower Jam was held at The Royal Albert Hall.
The immense fundraising event featured Rock legends Deep Purple, Jon Lord, Rick Wakeman, Joe Bonamassa, Newton Falkner and Danny Bowes, Gary Brooker. Bill Bailey made an appearence and entertained us with his cow bells, and His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales even popped by to show his support!
There were so many highlights for me personally its hard to know where to start. Photographing HRH was unbelievable, literally had to pinch myself, but until Im given clearance I wont be able to include any images, perhaps thats another blog anyway… So this entry’s images focus’s on what The Sunflower Jam is all about; the music which created goose bumps galore, wide star-struck popping eyes and certainly a few tears of joyful emotion. A fantastic amount of money was raised for this amazing cause thanks to Jackie Paice and all the team as well as the brilliant audience, It was a truly awesome night.
