Kat and Henry had not one but two ceremonies on their wedding day, some couples would be daunted by this prospect but Kat and Henry took it all in their stride and it was a pleasure to photograph them exchanging vows twice in two very different situations. The First ceremony took place at St Jame’s Church in Bix, it was a small ceremony with just immediate family attending and a beautiful start to the day enhanced by the Kat and Henry’s fathers surprising them both by playing Canon in D on the violins as they walked up the aisle, very special.
The next ceremony took place at The Crooked Billet in Stoke Row one of my favorite venues for all occasions. Held in the secret garden the lovely Fiona Braclik made the blessing joined by the full wedding party who were overjoyed to see Kat and Henry walk up the aisle and onto the reception where drinks and canapés were served until it was time for the wedding breakfast. The day progressed beautifully laughter, tears, pea shooters (yes pea shooters) created a fun filled marquee and all the guests had a ball, as did my second shooter Sam Henton and myself mastering the art of ducking from flying peas!
We wish you both all the very best for your future together, you make a wonderful couple and thank you for making us part of your day.
